Ari's Yahoo Client is a console-based Yahoo client for any UNIX-compatible system. It is available freely under the terms of the GNU General Public License. It uses a modified version of yahoolib from the GTK-Yahoo project. It can be compiled with support for curses.
The latest version of ari-yahoo is 1.15.
The latest version of ari-yahoo may be found at the releases page, at http://www.icculus.org/ari-yahoo/releases/. Installation is the standard ./configure, make, su, make install routine. For more information, see the files README and INSTALL in the distribution.
If you are using a very recent version of RedHat or similar distributions, you may have to make a modification before ari-yahoo compiles. In the distribution directory, issue this command:
echo > snprintf.c
